About us

The German Fanpage of Kaizers Orchestra has been created and is maintained by The Save-Me-Kaizer-Team:

We bring salvation by Kaizer Orchestra nigh! We are two quite normal people from Bonn and saw Kaizers Orchestra for the first time at the Rheinkultur-Festival in July 2003. We were immidiately impressed by the musical and performing perfection of the band and after seeing them for the third time in Rotterdam we decided to start the German fansite. Since October 3rd 2003 we have the honour of being the official German fansite of Kaizers Orchestra and have since then been trying to do our best to bring Kaizerean music to the world. We hope you enjoy our site and we look forward to your support. Send us pictures, live reviews or whatever you want.

Shirin - Initial idea, fountain of creativity, news, updates, translations (Norwegian/English), photos, reports, research, testing, public relations, contact and correspondence

Made in Iran the freetime-German lives in the culturally overwhelmingly rich city of Bonn. She has studied German and English literature in Bonn. She also studied at the university in Oslo in 1999, and that's where she learnt Norwegian. If she is not on a Kaizers-tour you may find her with a good book, listening to music or taking pictures for the music platform http://www.musicheadquarter.de/. Non-Kaizerean bands: Riverside, Nine Inch Nails, Waltari, Kamelot, Pain_of_Salvation, Porcupine Tree, Conception, Faith No More, Dream Theater, Immortal, Red_Harvest, QOTSA and many many more...

Thomas Reuter - HTML knitting, updates, reports, corrections, scanning, bitching about, design, public relations, maintaining contacts, driver and owner of the Kaizermobile

He has described his road to Kaizers Orchestra at length in the concert reviews. So no more information on that is necessary. Maybe you guys out there'd like to know what keeps him running otherwise. Well, mainly music. Well done, handcrafted music. Or self-made music (schlagermetall.de). On the other hand, he can not deny a certain attitude of talking posh, therefore he learned HTML in 1997, to unnerve more people with his assertions. This site is the most successful by far. Much more than 1,500,000 visits have been counted so far. This makes him and the rest proud. Thank you guys out there for it.

The photos of the impressed were taken by Achim Meurer, thanks a lot, dear photographer. Thanks to the location as well, the Klein Bon(n)um, where you get more than merely excellent food (as you can see). And thank you, Martin Becker for lending us your precious mandoline.
